P.O.U Gives Us a Taste of Their Progressive Style

Progressive house duo P.O.U is here to sweep you away to a summertime state of mind with their latest mix, which is filled to the brim with uplifting tunes.

P.O.U, formerly known as Product Of Us, is a duo that has already begun to carve out some significant space for themselves in the scene. Their blend of progressive and melodic house styles has caught the attention of tastemakers, leading to releases on labels that include Anjunabeats, Purified Records, Vandit Records, Siona Records, and more.

This year has seen P.O.U continue on their path to the top. Earlier this year, they shifted their focus to drive releases forward on their imprint, Of Us Records with tracks like “Solaris,” “Dreamcast,” and “Without You” with Jamie Black. That doesn’t mean they’ve stopped gracing other labels, as Perfect Havoc became the home for their version of the iconic dance track “Castles In The Sky.” This progressive-fueled take on the hit tune brings Scott Forshaw into the mix, and it’s a perfect addition to any summer playlist.

Speaking of summer, the duo shared that this season has been “crazy” for them so far. “Castles in The Sky (with Scott Forshaw) has seen amazing support from the likes of Armin van Buuren,” they said. “We have a busy schedule of releases planned throughout the rest of the year, plus international touring to India and Thailand coming up.”

That’s just one piece to the P.O.U puzzle for this summer, as there’s plenty more they have in store, with a residency at the Ministry of Sound in London and another at Destino in Ibiza. And to give everyone a taste of those performances, they dropped off a fantastic mix.

We base ourselves in Ibiza for the summer, flying back for our monthly residency at the Ministry of Sound in London. Our Destino residency in Ibiza gives us the chance to play driving, melodic house to great crowds throughout the summer season. This mix reflects that energy and vibe with driving basslines and uplifting melodies. We finish it with ‘Monaco,’ which has been picked up by Ferry Corsten for his Flashover Recordings label and comes out on July 12.
