Cloonee's Hellbent Records Drops 'Hotter Than Hell II' Compilation

Hotter Than Hell II, the second edition of this summer compilation series, features tracks from Greg (BR), James Poole, Void, and more.

Hellbent Records is label boss Cloonee’s way of pushing his staple sound. With some major releases this year and a strong response to his track “Sippin’ Yak,” the UK DJ and producer continues to grow rapidly as an artist.

As part of this, the second volume of Hellbent Records’ Hotter Than Hell summer compilation series is out now. Last year’s edition featured big names like Italobros, Andruss, Miguel Bastida, and Greg (BR). Hotter Than Hell II is no different, featuring a new tune from Greg (BR) as well as tracks from up-and-comers James Poole, Void, Liquid Rose and many more.

The ten-track compilation starts off with “Slimed In” by Void, which features a very catchy rap vocal and groovy percussion. This track sets the tone perfectly for a Cloonee set.

Liquid Rose delivers “Drop That Shit,” a Latin-inspired groover guaranteed to get the dancefloor moving. “Love Affair” by Pedroz and Abbud, with its groovy bassline and unique sound effects, also stands out in this VA.

“Ridin” by Greg Santos features a classic hip-hop sample turned into something equally memorable. Hellbent veteran Greg (BR) then brings “Besame,” a collaboration with Dabi. This track includes another familiar vocal sample that nails Cloonee’s signature sound, complete with trumpets.

Next is “PK Dora,” a collaboration between Jholeyson and Bastidas. This tune, with its Spanish vocals, driving bassline, and bongos, will get you dancing wherever you are. It’s fantastic addition to this record.

UK artist James Poole brings “Sayonara,” a standout acid synth banger with great percussion and a wicked bassline. Rounding out the compilation is Ferra Black‘s “Black Roses,” a track with a very strong catchy vocal and a great swingy drum groove. It’s the perfect ending.

Cloonee continues to demonstrate his knack for curating tracks that resonate with both the underground scene and mainstream audiences. Hotter Than Hell II is a testament to Hellbent Records’ commitment to showcasing both established artists and emerging talents from around the world.
