Video of Avicii’s last-ever performance at the Tallriken in Malmö, Sweden has been shared online after first surfacing at the Avicii Experience museum.

Avicii had discontinued touring two years before his untimely 2018 death. After all this time, fans of the Swedish superstar DJ and producer can finally watch a video taken during his last-ever performance at the Tallriken in Malmö, Sweden on August 5th, 2016. See for yourself below.

The footage first appeared at the Avicii Experience museum in Stockholm, whose exhibits and installations honor the late hitmaker’s memory. In it, he opens with his 2017 single “Without You,” which appeared on Avīci (01), the last album Avicii (real name Tim Bergling) released while still alive. He follows it up with renditions of “Hey Brother,” Shame on Me,” and “You Make Me.”

Initially, the video was displayed on a 1,000-square-foot LED screen from March 28-April 7. As of today, it is also available on the official Avicii YouTube account.

Last month, Bergling ended up in headlines again when his former girlfriend, Emily Goldberg, died at age 34 due to a pulmonary embolism. The two had dated for two years while Bergling was still actively touring and performing.

In happier news, at the end of May, “Hey Brother” hit one billion streams on Spotify. It is the fifth Avicii single to reach such a milestone; the first was his 2013 hit crossover single “Wake Me Up.”

Bergling catapulted into mainstream awareness on the back of singles like “Seek Bromance” and “Levels” toward the beginning of the EDM explosion that took place from 2010-2015. He was found dead in Muscat, Oman on April 20th, 2018 due to an apparent suicide.

More than six year’s after his passing, the legacy of Tim Bergling’s music lives on, keeping his memory alive and continuing to earn him new fans.
