After months of teasing their collaborative tune, John Summit and Kaskade have officially dropped “Resonate” with songstress Julia Church.
Chicago is the home of house music. It’s also the city that has helped bring John Summit and Kaskade into the scene. While these two artists might have a significant difference in the amount of time they’ve spent behind the decks, the grip that each of them has had on the scene has been impossible to ignore.
Last year, John Summit and Kaskade took the stage together at HARD Summer and played to a massive crowd, but that wasn’t the end of their relationship. The two hit the studio to make the full-circle moment even more complete, and the result was a collaborative tune, “Resonate.” Those who are HSMF were the first to hear that tune get blasted out over the festival’s speakers, and since then, it’s found its way into both artist’s sets at festivals like EDC Las Vegas, Coachella, PHX LIGHTS, and more.
Flash forward to today, and the track has finally been unveiled in its full form as the latest single off John Summit’s forthcoming album, Comfort In Chaos. “Resonate” starts slowly with gorgeous vocals from Julia Church, who recently lent her voice to Summit’s collaboration with Sub Focus, front and center. The track begins to pick up as it swells into a captivating drop that’s assertive and ready for any festival stage. The marriage of these two artist’s styles is seamless, and we can only hope that there is more to come from them in the future!
Listen to “Resonate” on Spotify or your preferred platform, and pre-save Comfort In Chaos before its release on July 12.
