Chef Boyarbeatz is "Ready" to Give You a Taste of Drum & Bass

Chef Boyarbeatz has been serving up tracks off his latest EP one by one, and we’ve got a first listen to the most recent single, “Ready.”

Chef Boyarbeatz is living proof that genuine talent, a kind heart, and unforgettable branding are a recipe for success in the electronic music scene. After his hit track “Steady Slurkin” jumpstarted his fame within the bass music scene in 2022, Chef made it clear soon after that he would never be a one-hit-wonder. His fresh approach to classic dubstep makes his live sets unforgettable, whether double and tripling 140 tracks or mixing in his signature dashes of UK Garage and drum and bass.

Fast-forward to 2024 and Chef Boyarbeatz is fresh off taking the stage of EDC Las Vegas‘ bassPOD, a milestone that truly could never be celebrated enough. His live set from the festival is up now on both YouTube and SoundCloud for anyone who wants to experience the madness for themselves. But on the release front, he’s also been gearing up for his forthcoming EP, Fuck Off.

UKF premiered the first single, “Here We Go,” earlier this month, and today we have your first listen for the second, “Ready.” Chef Boyarbeatz shared that this tune marks his first true drum and bass track, and there’s no doubt his fans are going to be hungry for more in this style. High-energy drums and classic Chef-style sampling make it an immediate favorite and one surely deserving of a wheelback.

“Ready” is my second single off the forthcoming EP. It marks the “first” drum and bass tune I’ve officially put out since my release with Mad Zoo back in 2020. I say “first” lightly here as that release more of a halftime/jungle/breaks tune vs full on drum and bass. I’ve been making the genre for a long time now but have never felt ready (pun intended) to release any of them just because the standard for the genre is so high, and I’ve never been 100% content with what I’ve made. I’ve realized I just need to start putting these songs out there and be more comfortable with what I’ve made.
