Renowned German producer Boris Brejcha has unleashed his latest soundscapes for techno lovers to get lost inside on Level One.

When you talk about movers and shakers in the techno scene, there’s no doubt that Boris Brejcha is a name that should be in the conversation. His lengthy career has been littered with captivating albums and performances that have swept crowds off their feet, making him one of the most hotly-desired artists in the current era of the dance music world. For his latest release, Level One, Boris Brejcha has channeled his innate production ability and utilized nostalgic elements to celebrate the past and present while ultimately showing what lies in the future.

Those following Boris Brejcha’s releases over the past year will quickly be familiar with some of the 17 tracks on Level One, which is out now on his label Fcking Serious. Singles like “Vienna” with Malena Narvay, “Space X,” “Dimension,” “Miracle” with Leony, “Terminal Zero,” and the album’s title track all surfaced before the full body of work to set the tone for what was to come on the sonic journey. Each plays a part in opening the doors to the mesmerizing interstellar world that the techno maestro has created, all while sprinkles of wobbling basslines, vocals, and pensive moments are layered in for added flair.

Level One demonstrates my ability to find a delicate balance between my classic sound and my evolving musical direction. Creating an album posed the challenge of blending the familiar with the new. I believe I have successfully navigated this artistic journey.

New tunes, like “Milky Way,” “Wormhole,” “Rave City” with Ginger, and “Universe Of Love” all help further bolden the cosmic ambiance of Level One. While the futuristic vibe is prominent throughout, there’s something to be said about homage to his past, as each of the tracks found on the album is rooted in the signature sounds from earlier periods of his work. If there’s one thing that defines Level One, it’s evolution, and Boris Brejcha has put on a masterclass when telling his own tale through sublime techno grooves.
