Joker, J:Kenzo, EPROM, K.L.O., Ternion Sound, Youngsta, and more are set to take the stages of this year’s summer edition of Infrasound Festival.
Infrasound Festival– the Midwest’s most adored bass music event, is back and better than ever, with one of its biggest lineups in the decade-plus history of the festival. Infrasound dates tend to fluctuate each year, and this summer’s edition will return to its gorgeous home of Harmony Park Music Garden in Clarks Grove, Minnesota, on June 6-9, 2024. Loyal fans are already hoping the festival’s fall edition, Infrasound Equinox, will be back later this year as well.
Last month, it was revealed that UK dubstep legend Joker would headline with not one but two sets. And it’s safe to say the festival is huge on multi-set additions to their bills, as it allows even more opportunities for unique performances from the artists. J:Kenzo holds another headlining slot with two sets, but these aren’t the only two double-hitters. Long-time Infrasound veteran kLL smTH will return as his original alias and the classic Infrasound staple- his cooking set grLL smTH. Don’t miss this cookout party; be sure to come hungry or bring your own grill setup to participate. Local stars Ternion Sound are also whipping up two sets yet again.
Some standouts whose performances will be must-sees include Bukez Finezt, Chief Kaya, Causa, EPROM, Entangled Mind, Mary Droppinz, Two Swords (FKA Hyroglifics), Ott, Yoko, Sir Spyro, Sister Nancy, Seppa, and hometown hero DJ Necromancer. There’s a two-hour set from Youngsta and even a performance from coveted UK vocalist PAV4N, which we can only hope means he will also make some guest appearances in others’ sets.
Infrasound heads know that besides the main lineup, you never know who might unexpectedly pop up or what rare back-to-back could happen at the late-night silent disco. As always, the festival will bring the highest of high-quality sound systems they’re known for, which include Funktion-One, Void Acoustics, and the coveted Element-5.
