An artist with a knack for many different styles, Hyroglifics has officially rebranded his project as his new moniker, Two Swords.
Through the lens of change, we gain clarity. UK producer Hyroglifics has been known for his next-level drum and bass and dubstep production, but many of his recent projects like I’ll Wait, I Guess are proof that the talented artist is not limited to any singular genre.
He took to Twitter and Instagram this week to announce his official name change and rebrand as Two Swords, stating that he no longer felt that his artistic direction was aligned with his former alias of Hyroglifics.
He explained to fans in his statement that this evolution has long been necessary as he has continued to evolve musically. He also gets poetically honest, stating that change is the only real constant in life for an artist, offering meaningful words about growth that hit home.
Two Swords went on to explain the meaning behind his new name and how it represents the dualities of life and artistry. Yesterday, he dropped his debut project as Two Swords in the form of a two-track EP, baja blast/pushback.
Blending elements of dubstep, breaks, jungle, and drum and bass, the sounds are unmistakably the producer fans have gotten to know and love as Hyroglifics. As his talent and popularity were exploding under his prior alias, there’s no doubt this rebrand will only further propel his stardom and personal aspirations.
Two Swords’ first official project under his new moniker is out now, so stream baja blast/pushback on Spotify or your preferred platform to get a first taste of the new sounds to come from this talented producer.
