Through his dedicated writing sessions, Mr. Bill (real name Bill Day) was able to grow as an artist, resulting in an 18-track album that captures his artistic journey. Mechanomorphic highlights his ability to draw inspiration from machinery, showcasing the evolving interaction between humans and technology in the modern age.

The talented Australian electronic music producer and audio engineer is a true maverick in the EDM universe. He runs his label, teaches others how to make music on his website, hosts The Mr. Bill Podcast, performs all over, and has collaborated with some of the best in the industry. Among them are deadmau5, Ganja White Night, Subtronics, and Virtual Riot.

His latest album, Mechanomorphic, is no different! Collabs with Dirt Monkey, Infected Mushroom, Ellika, COPYCATT, Def3, The Widdler, Culprate, and others further enrich this album, embodying a true testament to creative beauty.

Earlier this year, Mr. Bill gave us a taste of what was to come with the release of two singles. The first, the energetic, atmospheric track “Bones” featuring Dirt Monkey and Ellika, showcased Day’s boundless creativity. Next up was the hypnotic trance number “Rawthentic” with Infected Mushroom, released in February. Both tunes were pure fire, setting the perfect stage for the grand unveiling of Mechanomorphic!

“The definition of ‘Mechanomorphic’ is ‘having the form or qualities of a machine,’ and in a way, the album kind of has that, but that isn’t why I named it that. I’ve always been interested in the i/o system between humans and technology (especially in creative fields); humans build technology, the technology influences humans, and it continues in this loop. In my opinion, that idea has never been more pertinent than it is now with the introduction of AI into society, and so that idea inspired the name of this album.”
