Joshwa continues his hot streak in the scene with the launch of his new label, No Bad Fridays Records, and its first release, Get Stupid / Lluvia.

Joshwa has propelled his way up the ranks of the scene with plenty of momentum over the past few years. From dropping some of the most sought-out IDs, including chart-toppers “My Humps” and “Magalenha,” to releasing on powerhouse labels like Lee Foss’ Repopulate Mars and Chris Lake’s Black Book Records, he’s built an impressive discography for himself.

Today, the UK-based DJ and producer opened the doors to the next chapter of his career by launching his new record label, No Bad Fridays Records. This new imprint will be the home for Joshwa’s upcoming releases as he continues to showcase his sound, which has infected dancefloors worldwide, as he reaches new heights in the scene.

It’s been a dream of mine to have my own label to share the music that represents the sound I play in my sets – a mixture of dark and light. I wanted to channel the positivity music has had on my life through the label, and what better day to do it than a Friday? So! Without further ado, you guys have been asking for this one – it certainly can’t be a bad Friday when we’re finally giving you this funky ass bassline.

Joshwa

It wouldn’t be a proper label launch without some fresh music, so alongside its debut arrives two new tunes from Joshwa, Get Stupid / Lluvia. His signature hypnotic, highly energetic sound comes through from the jump on “Get Stupid” as the “funky ass bassline” carries your feet forward to the dancefloor while vocal stabs arrive with each passing second. Similar energy arrives on “Lluvia,” but the sultry, Spanish vocals shine brightly on this one before the shuffling bassline and flute arrive to guide you to a state of house music bliss.

Both tracks reflect Joshwa’s magnetic attitude and enthusiasm for his craft and give a glimpse of what’s to come with the launch of his label. Listen to Get Stupid / Lluvia on Spotify or other platforms, and stay tuned for upcoming releases from No Bad Fridays Records.
