There’s a new melodic house and techno label in town, and it goes by the name Interstellar. Get a taste of what’s to come with “Holmen”!
Insomniac Music Group continues to grow, welcoming a fresh sublabel into the mix. It’s called Interstellar Recordings and will be the home for melodic house and techno, but with loose boundaries, music seekers can also look forward to progressive and deep house, in addition to others. But releases aren’t the sole focus. Fans can look forward to Interstellar’s future on the dancefloor as an official club and events brand. While liftoff was aborted due to Mother Nature’s wrath last year, the incoming redemption phase is written in the stars.
On the music production side, Jeremy Olander has been called to set the tone with “Holmen.” The track vibrates out of the gate like a rocket on ignition. Quickly, uplifting percussion takes over, filling the room with forest vibes while the surrounding elements turn our heads to the sky. The deeper into the track, the more ethereal it becomes until we reverse course back to the terra firma.
Regarding the track’s history, Jeremy Olander pointed out, “This particular one was made for the Department Festival in Stockholm last summer.” He continued, “I played the headline slot on the second day and wanted to put something together that was big, melodic, and emotional and could set the tone for a festival set.”
Speaking of sets, the Vivrant boss is on tour and will surely share this track with you through the big speakers. He’s heading to Spain, Sweden, Norway, and the UK before crossing the pond to the US for a little fun in San Francisco on May 26-27. Grab your tickets while you still can!
Now, it’s time to welcome Interstellar Recordings officially! Grab your copy of “Holmen” on your favorite music platform or stream the track on Spotify.
