The month continues to March onward into spring, and the light at the end of the winter tunnel finally broke through with Daylight Savings this past weekend. Last week, Coachella announced their Do LaB lineup complete with plenty of bass music, and Canada’s iconic Shambhala Music Festival revealed the full bill for their massive 25th edition.

Visages – Panacea
The ever-talented French quartet Visages teased their upcoming EP, Dol Guldur, this week with the first single from the project, “Panacea.” Known for both their sultry dubstep style and uplifting liquid DnB melodies, this new track is yet another masterpiece of the latter.
“Panacea” means a cure-all, or universal remedy, which accurately describes the feelings instilled by Visages’ euphoric drum and bass tunes. The jazz influence and floating vocal stabs create the most flawless soundscape on this track. You can’t listen to it just once.
The Widdler – Running Red
Another EP teaser this week comes from none other than The Widdler with the title track of his forthcoming EP, “Running Red.” Widdler fans will undoubtedly recognize this sweet and simple 140 beat from his live sets and those of others’.
The perfect low-end beat to cook up doubles with, “Running Red” perfectly captures the unmistakable sound The Widdler is known for in every wobble.
Becky Hill & Sonny Fodera – Never Be Alone (Taiki Nulight Remix)
Taiki Nulight caught the attention of wave and downtempo fans everywhere this week with his sultry new remix of celebrated UK vocalist Becky Hill‘s “Never Be Alone.”
While Becky’s powerful vocals remain at the forefront of the track, Taiki Nulight spins an addicting beat underneath with deep, pulsating synths that ebb and flow in perfect harmony. From his popular recent remix of Hamdi‘s “Counting” to this new gem, it’s no wonder bass fans are talking about Taiki Nulight.
Bukkha & Redeyes- Never After
Junglists, it’s your turn for an incredible new offering from Bukkha and Redeyes. Lush, soulful jungle with jazzy flair and choppy vocal stabs swirl to create a perfectly articulated soundscape on “Never After.”
There’s no better track to welcome in warmer weather. The duo manage to paint a kind of sonic nostalgia that can only be described as reminiscent of music from an early 2000s computer game loading screen.
Diesel and Level Up – NEXT LVL
DJ Diesel teamed up with Level Up for the headbangers this week with their brand-new heavy hitter that just released on Monstercat Recordings.
Not long after the release of Diesel’s recent debut album, he and Level Up dropped “NEXT LVL” just in time for festival season and it’s sure to have dubstep fans diving over the rail.
