Helsloot is set to release his debut album, Never Tried, on May 10 and just dropped off the latest single from the album, “Disco Maxi.”

Thomas Helsloot, aka Helsloot, has made quite a name for himself in the dance music scene with melodic-driven soundscapes that have captivated millions around the world. During this time, he’s teamed up with Tinlicker to deliver sensational tracks like “Because You Move Me,” “Paradise,” and “Tell Me” with Hero Baldwin while also unleashing a flurry of originals, including “Let’s Pretend,” “Petal Dance,” and more.

Last year, Helsloot added two more stunners, “Take Care” and “One Step” with Jono McCleery, to the mix, the latter of which was paired with a tease that his first album would be released in 2024. Now more details have begun to surface as his debut album on Get Physical, Never Tried, will finally be revealed for the masses to bask in on May 10, and it is set to feature some fantastic collaborators such as Beacon, Malou, Yorina, and his longtime friends Tinlicker.

My debut album is mainly about me, which was the hardest thing to do for a people pleaser. I tried digging as deep as I could and ignored every trend to explain it to every future me in its purest way. It’s a translation of the excitement but also the insecurity you feel when trying something new.

While the first two singles provide a solid taste of what’s to come on Never Tried, Helsloot has offered fans even more to be excited about by pairing the news of his album with the release of “Disco Maxi.” While this tune is rooted in the realm of melodic house and techno with its darker ambiance, the Dutch artist has channeled his passion for dancefloor energy by layering in disco elements that are sure to have you feeling a proper groove.

Listen to “Disco Maxi” on Spotify or your preferred platform, and pre-save Never Tried ahead of its May 10 release.
