MYTHM Reveals Lead Single Off His Forthcoming Debut Album

in New Releases

MYTHM delivered the lead single from his debut album on Deadbeats, Mind Of Madness, along with the official release date.

Canadian bass music DJ and producer MYTHM has quickly and rightfully earned his place as a respected artist within the bass music community. While he started the project in 2019, the last five years have included plenty of hard work and memorable releases to keep his name at the top of everyone’s radar. Using social media to cultivate a growing fanbase, MYTHM became known early on for his live-streamed sets and distinctively dark sound.

Since breaking onto the scene, MYTHM has garnered support across the scene from major artists such as Zeds Dead, Truth, and PEEKABOO. The last few years have seen him on a roll, with releases on Deadbeats, Wormhole, Deep Dark & Dangerous, and Rezz‘s new HypnoVizion imprint. Now, the rising star returns to Deadbeats with news surrounding his forthcoming debut album, Mind Of Madness.

Mind Of Madness was announced last month to the delight of MYTHM’s growing fanbase with the artist sharing, “I’ve been looking forward to sharing this moment with all of you for quite some time and it’s finally here,” on social media. Those looking for a taste of what’s in store on his debut album now have the chance, as he’s gifted its first track for the world to hear.

The lead single, “Grim,” features an ominous siren intro, vibrating bass, and minimal drums. While not overwhelming to the ear, the track is still a perfect blend of classic deep dubstep and MYTHM’s signature sound. It serves as just enough of a taste of the album to leave listeners waiting for more. In tandem with this release, MYTHM announced that his debut album would be released on April 26 via Deadbeats, so stay tuned for that to drop.

Get a taste of Mind of Madness by listening to “Grim” on your preferred platform, and follow MYTHM on socials for more singles to come off the album in the coming weeks.
