When faced with the opportunity, would you dial the Chaos Hotline?
Imagine existing inside a bubble floating around the world; that’s how magical “Look Too Deep (See The Music)” feels. You feel a sense of peace as you float above, looking down on all that exists below the bird’s eye view. “ICKarus” comes in like a gust of wind to redirect your attention. Bounce along to the tambourine and whistle-infused beat as you take a flight to isolated desert lands.
Just past this desert wasteland, you float your bubble into the tracks “Shadow Of A Torch” and “Sworda,” where untamed chaos pummels your mind with breakbeats pummeling your mind in ways one never knew were possible. Yongi helps Freddy Todd on “Hayzee” as she gently guides you to a calmer pulse. Both of the artists complement each other so well within this track’s love-struck ballad.
Get your dancing shoes ready because the funk is about to be overflowing.
It’s time to get groovy as “Day Of My Life” comes into focus. This funk-inspired jam will inspire happy feet as you shimmy to the irresistible beat. Landing in a dream state again, “Dissonant Dissident” feels as if you’re still floating along in your bubble, except it is filled with water, and you’re swimming with the fishes.
“Sacral Blurr” greets you with an impressive sound design. You can almost imagine the static you hear perfectly as it falls up and down to the frequency-set path. To end the album, “Multishine” brings a bit of all the elements together in one. You have sexy low-end static with drums and a waggish layout that captures the listener’s attention.
