Junglist queen Nia Archives has released the titular single off her debut album, Silence Is Loud, along with a release date.
Unapologetically paving her way in the electronic dance music space, UK-based DJ, producer, singer, and songwriter Nia Archives has enjoyed a well-deserved rise to stardom in recent years. She kicked off her career with the self-release of her track “Sober Feels” at the height of the pandemic in 2020, and things have only gone up from there. The last four years have seen Nia Archives achieve some major accolades and milestones, including winning third place in BBC‘s Sound of 2023 and opening for Beyonce‘s Renaissance World Tour stop in London.
Still working hard to cement herself as an artist to watch, Nia Archives is known primarily for her junglist inclination. From tracks like “Off Wiv Ya Headz” to “Crowded Rooms” and her remix of Jorja Smith‘s “Little Things,” her discography remains a constantly growing junglist haven. Now this self-described new-era junglist is pulling more tricks out of her sleeve with her newest release, “Silence Is Loud,” as the title track of her debut album due out April 12.
Like many of her other creations, “Silence Is Loud” features emotive vocals by Nia Archives herself, over the sounds of her signature jungle style. The track manages to arouse a nostalgia we didn’t know existed while irresistibly beckoning us to dance. If the rest of the album is anything like this single, listeners are in for a treat. The full effort consists of 13 tracks in total and is available for pre-order on vinyl or CD now.
