The third album from Subtronics, TESSERACT, will officially drop on February 16 to coincide with the kick-off of his upcoming tour.
Subtronics has been on the ride of his life over the past few years as he has risen to the top of the bass music scene. Not only has this genre-bending artist released hit albums like FRACTALS and ANTIFRACTALS for his fervent fanbase to consume, but he’s also curated unique shows and performed at massive venues and festivals along the way.
Recent victories for Subtronics include the news of his forthcoming edition of Cyclops Rocks, along with a fresh collaboration with Rezz that has already won over fans. Today, he can add another mark to that box with the announcement of his third album, TESSERACT. Due out on February 16 via Cyclops Recordings, this new collection of tunes draws inspiration from the 16-cell geometric shape and shows off his love for quantum physics and high-dimensional theory. There’s no doubt that listeners will find themselves traveling the cosmos when they press play.
The release of TESSERACT will occur on the same day as the first show on Subtronics’ forthcoming tour. This string of shows kicks off at The Armory in Minneapolis, with dates in Columbus, Pittsburgh, Buffalo, Brooklyn, Boston, Nashville, and more that will take him through the early weeks of March. Support on the TESSERACT Tour includes Wooli, HEDEX, Saka, and Distinct Motive, among others, at specific stops.
