For over a decade, Insomniac Events‘ premier hard dance brand, Basscon, has delivered stunning lineups, unforgettable memories, and exhilarating experiences. While the brand has existed for quite some time, it’s still in its formative years as hard dance continues to expand in the States. From intimate club shows to full-blown festivals like Bullseye!, Basscon has seemingly done it all — at least in Southern California.

As hard dance continues to expand its following, Basscon also aims to grow in step with the demand for these forbidden sounds. One of the brightest markets in which Basscon has yet to touch down, however, is none other than the Bay Area. Luckily, Basscon has its sights set on creating a new home in sunny San Francisco.

Fans from every corner of the Bay have been clamoring for major league hardstyle shows, and it looks like they’re finally getting that. Set to touch down in San Francisco, Basscon is bringing heavy hitters TNT and Wasted Penguinz to The Midway in San Francisco on March 23. Of course, this lineup wouldn’t be complete without some American Hard Dance. Basscon has fans covered with the bouncy style of GEO, the classic sounds of Darksiderz, and the raw weapons of DEATH CODE.

While this is a big step in the right direction for Basscon, we would be remiss to overlook that this lineup doesn’t include any Bay Area talent. There’s a multitude of artists who have been holding it down for years and would’ve benefitted from getting to represent their hometown. Nonetheless, this is only the beginning of a brand-new relationship between Basscon and the Bay Area. Improvement is not only expected, but guaranteed.
