**Rinzen fuels intrigue for his debut album Bend The Light with the arrival of “Burnin’,” out now on Lane 8’s This Never Happened!**

There’s been something extra special that Rinzen has been cooking in his studio, and he’s ready to give everyone a taste! “Burnin’,” featuring Shallou, is a fresh offering holding massive heat as it’s the primary representative for his forthcoming debut album, Bend the Light.

Arriving on Lane 8‘s treasured label, This Never Happened, on April 5, this collection of tunes will take revelers on a planetary trip to study extraterrestrial civilizations. Along the way, Rinzen’s infatuation for sci-fi and cyberpunk will reveal itself as he paints a sonic picture of spirituality, idealism, and a dystopian future.

I love writing concept EPs with a glimpse into other worlds, so now with my album I wanted to make a bigger artistic statement, build a bigger story. In lockdown, freed from writing club tracks, I fell in love with making art that wasn’t tied to functionality. I took all my best tracks from just showing up at the studio for two and a half years for this album.

Keeping with this particular theme, the melodic details build and wane like a brooding flame until all light is extinguished with the closing pulse.
