Vintage Culture announced his debut album Promised Land, and dropped its third single in collaboration with Maverick Sabre and Tom Breu.
Whatever Vintage Culture touches in the scene seemingly turns to gold. Over the past few years, he’s released some of the most memorable tunes in the realm of house and techno, helped champion the rise of Brazilian artists in the global community, and has taken the stage at the world’s top festivals from Tomorrowland to EDC Las Vegas, and everything in between. But one thing was missing from the beloved Brazilian artist: a full-length album. That changes in 2024 with the news that Vintage Culture will release Promised Land.
The first taste of Promised Land arrived last year with the release of “Come Come” with Tube & Berger and Kyle Pearce and “Fallen Leaf” with Fideles and Be No Rain. But along with the news that it will be landing on May 24, he’s dropped off another gift for fans, “Weak,” the third single off his debut album. Like the previous two, it sees the Brazilian melodic maestro team up with talented artists – Maverick Sabre and Tom Breu.
The story behind “Weak” turns back the clock to 2020 when shows were placed on hold for much of the world. It was then that Vintage Culture and Maverick Sabre connected on a creative level and fused their unique influences together, with Tom Breu joining in on the production as well. From the deep groove that stokes just enough energy to get your body moving to the gorgeous vocal performance that offers Sabre’s lyrical prowess, it’s a tune that will surely infect your mind for some time to come.
Listen to “Weak” on Spotify or your preferred platform, pre-save Promised Land ahead of its release on May 24, and follow Vintage Culture for more to come!
