Avoure has made his home in California and spun up a gorgeous DJ set featuring melodic techno, indie dance grooves, and more.
Ukrainian DJ and producer Avoure has consistently proven with each passing year that he can create memorable soundscapes that touch the hearts of listeners. As a frequent face on Lane 8’s This Never Happened, he’s come into his own with releases on the imprint that show off his unique take on progressive and melodic house.
Avoure faced turbulence in the midst of his rise after his home country was invaded by Russia. Luckily, he was able to find a new home in Los Angeles where he could continue to create music for the masses. In 2023 he dropped the Reflection EP centered on the emotions he felt while still residing in Ukraine, while also providing fans with new ALTER EGO and get inside mixes to show off his dynamic influences. Closing out the year with “Pulse,” a breaks-fueled track on his newly-minted label Biome, Avoure made it clear that more greatness would come in the future.
Now, with a full year ahead of him, Avoure looked to set off on the right foot, and he did so by finding a beautiful location to film a DJ set that will sweep you off your feet when you give it a spin. Found inside the mix are six IDs that will be released on Biome in the future, all of which quickly become the stars of the show. That said, there are plenty of other tunes that will leave some emotions surfacing from deep inside your soul, from the likes of Butch, Maceo Plex, Llewelyn, Black Circle, Cristoph & ADZ, and Simon Doty & My Friend.
