The Playground Foundation is bringing Carl Cox, Deep Dish, and more to a massive party at The Midway SF to raise funds for their Burning Man camp!
With the new year underway, Burners are starting to dig into preparations for their next adventure on The Playa. A major part of ensuring survival at Burning Man is to align yourself with a camp where you can engage with the community and give back through volunteer work. The non-profit Playground Foundation is a great example.
This camp creates magic through cutting-edge art and sound and is fully inclusive and pinpoint-focused on participation, self-reliance, and radical self-expression. To make the vision come to life, the Playground Foundation throws an annual fundraiser. This year, they’re heading back to The Midway SF with a lineup that’ll knock you off your feet!
On Saturday, May 11, house and techno superstar Carl Cox will be in the house, joined by the dark and soulful diva Nicole Moudaber, the showstopping sonic innovator Eli Brown, and the Grammy Award-winning Deep Dish. In addition, techno specialist Brennen Grey will be stepping up to the decks along with the Bay Area’s underground weapon and Opulent Temple founder, Syd Gris.
Come prepared to dance all day long because this multi-stage block party will transition into an unhinged after party. More artists are still to be announced but don’t wait because this is sure to sell out. There are many options to choose from, starting at $45 for a block party ticket, $69 for the block party and afterparty combo, and VIP options with access to viewing decks starting at $139.
Grab your tickets while you still can and stay locked in with the Playground Foundation for more information and artist announcements by following them on social media!
