CamelPhat Introduces New Compilation on When Stars Align Imprint

CamelPhat expands the catalog of When Stars Align with Constellation Series, Vol 1, featuring Grigoré, Jozef K, and MotherEarth!

Acclaimed duo CamelPhat shot their fanbase into orbit last year when they lifted the veil on their brand new record label, When Stars Align. Today, they push us further into their universe with the arrival of the imprint’s debut VA compilation.

Constellation Series, Vol 1 boasts beats from three gravity-defying space cadets, beginning with melodic house and techno guru Grigoré. His offering, “Polifonia,” is characterized by a musical texture consisting of two or more simultaneous lines of independent melody. He drives this concept home in the latter portion of the track, using a riveting combination of synth patterns in the wake of the kinetic vocal line.

Next to explore the star-studded sky is Ibiza staple and Dreaming Forever pioneer Jozef K. “Floating Emotions” is the perfect title for this tune because as soon as the chugging percussion takes hold, it lifts spirits into a different dimension. But this one comes with a twist. While the weightless effect holds, there’s an unsettling undertone that pulls at the feet, trying desperately to ground the listener to Earth. The dichotomy creates a hell of an exhilarating experience.

MotherEarth calls us home from our solar shenanigans with his debut release, “Pulsate.” But don’t let his terranean moniker fool you; he’s a rising star ready to light up the industry with his powerful presence. This offering proves his potential, featuring a majestic melody dominated by distorted synth notes and rhythmic switches. Its expansive sound saturates every molecule in the room.

This package is an absolute win for CamelPhat‘s blossoming label. The only issue? It’s limited supply of soundscapes makes it something of a tease. Understandably, they’d want to keep it concise to increase focus on their selected producers. So, for now, we’ll just have to wait patiently until the next volume arrives.
