Patricio is helping save Christmas this year by taking the stage at SantaCon, and he’s gifted us with a mix to help get everyone hyped for his set.
Turn back the clock to the early ’90s, and you’ll find Patricio stepping up to the turntables for the first time. After growing up in Buenos Aires, he moved to Los Angeles and spent decades perfecting his craft behind the decks while showcasing the deeper, moodier side of house and techno he’s championed. You’ll find Patricio playing at clubs, undergrounds, and desert parties around Southern California, including Coachella, but it’s his work with the Do LaB and Lightning in a Bottle that’s helped solidify his legacy.
Known as the founder and sonic architect of The Junkyard stage at Lightning in a Bottle, he’s helped create many memories over the years. This stage features nothing but the most immaculate of vibes you can find at the festival as some of the best artists in the scene take the stage, along with Patricio, of course. And now, he’s planning to bring his magnetic energy to San Diego when he plays the upcoming edition of Almost Nakey’s SantaCon on December 16.
Patricio, along with artists such as Chromeo, DJ Susan, RaeCola, Cherub, Austin Millz, and more, will be helping save Christmas at SantaCon this year. This one-day takeover of Belmont Park won’t just be filled with quality beats but also plenty more to explore, from interactive installations to all the rides the park offers. And to get everyone prepped for this holiday-fueled experience, Patricio spun up a mix filled with his signature, groovy house soundscapes.
