Tale of Us will take their Afterlife spectacle to six cities throughout Central and South America in 2024.
Afterlife has set out to cover some serious ground next year. The label and event brand founded by Italian duo Tale of Us is slated to touch down in six cities throughout Latin America from February to May 2024.
Afterlife Latin America 2024 kicks off with an appearance in Medellin, Colombia on February 4. Tour stops in Lima, Peru and São Paulo, Brazil come next, on February 10 and 24, respectively.
Then, on March 9, Afterlife will return to its stronghold of Buenos Aires, Argentina. After more than a month off, the tour will conclude with two stops in Mexico. One takes place on May 17 in Guadalajara, and the other in Mexico City on May 25.
At the time of writing, no lineup details have been announced for the Afterlife Latin America 2024 tour. Tale of Us (real names Matteo Milleri and Carmine Conte) will undoubtedly headline, as will Milleri solo as Anyma and Conte under his MRAK project. Previous Afterlife events have billed artists like Adriatique, Rēbuke, Cassian, Layla Benitez, and Woo York.
Milleri and Conte met in 2008 at the SAE Institute in Milan; they released their first EP together as Tale of Us, titled Dark Song, via Visionquest in 2011. They launched Afterlife — first as a label — in 2016. The timing couldn’t have been better, as the label became closely associated with an unmistakably trance-influenced style of techno during a period when the lines separating the two genres had increasingly blurred.
Not even seven years later, fans have come to expect a high standard of production value from Afterlife events. Cinematic CGI visuals and immersive lighting make for an experience unique to other house and techno gatherings on the market.
