Come June 2024, Fatboy Slim will embark on an eight-stop tour across the UK.
Four decades in the game haven’t slowed Fatboy Slim down one bit. The big beat DJ and producer still puts on a spectacle anytime he sets foot behind the decks. From June 14-August 24, 2024, fans in eight cities throughout England, Ireland, and Scotland will get to experience his showmanship for themselves as he takes the Fatboy Slim Loves Summer tour on the road.
The run of dates kicks off with an appearance at Fairview Park in Dublin on June 14 before Fatboy Slim (real name Norman Cook) performs at Eden Sessions in Cornwall the following day. Then, on July 5, 6, and 7, he will touch down at Castlefield Bowl in Manchester, Open Air Theatre in Scarborough, and Tofte Manor in Bedfordshire, respectively.
After a couple weeks off, Cook will play at SWG3 Galvanizers Yard in Glasgow on July 20, and then at Galway Airport in the city of its namesake on August 9. The Fatboy Slim Loves Summer tour concludes with a show at The Piece Hall in Halifax, England on August 24.
Prior to garnering worldwide fame as a DJ and producer, Cook played instruments in bands like The Housemartins and The Mighty Dub Katz since 1985. He adopted the Fatboy Slim pseudonym in 1996 — the same year he released his debut album, Better Living Through Chemistry, on Skint Records.
Cook’s 1998 single “Praise You” from his album You’ve Come a Long Way, Baby marked his first solo #1 on the UK charts. After 2000’s Halfway Between the Gutter and the Stars, he has achieved success with singles like “Eat, Sleep, Rave, Repeat” in 2013 and “Where U Iz” in 2017.
Tickets to the Fatboy Slim Loves Summer tour go on sale November 3. Find information on each individual event on the Fatboy Slim website.
