Kaskade Unveils “Save Me” as First Single from ‘REDUX 006’

After a two-year hiatus, Kaskade announces the sixth volume of his much anticipated REDUX series!

REDUX, a term signifying rebirth, is a living project meticulously crafted by Kaskade, a nod to his earlier years when he ran a record shop named Mechanized in Salt Lake City while DJing his way through college. This project is designed to create an intimate space with deep, melodic underpinnings, distinct from his high-energy mainstage tracks. Kaskade describes it as “no-hype; it is all tension and release,” with deep house vibes and ethereal vocals being its driving force.

Since its inception in 2014, the REDUX series has mesmerized audiences worldwide with its distinctive deep house sound tailored to create an intimate experience. Now, following the monumental collaborative Kx5 project with deadmau5, Kaskade has set his focus back on the series for the first time in two years with the announcement of its sixth volume. REDUX 006 is due out on October 27 via Arkade and is set to feature fresh tracks intricately woven with melodic elements that are uniquely Kaskade’s.

The first single, “Save Me,” featuring Lauren L’aimant, introduces listeners to a soundscape of synths overlaid with Lauren’s airy vocals, set against a gentle afro-inspired percussion backdrop. Like previous REDUX tracks, Kaskade delves into the human experience, touching on themes of love, loss, and longing. The track resonates with a plea for stability amidst the turmoil, as the lyrics echo, “I need to feel my feet on solid ground, save me now.” The remaining tracks on the EP are expected to continue this intimate exploration, enveloped in deep, melodic soundscapes.

Kaskade’s recently announced REDUX tour has been met with incredible demand. Although his upcoming performance at Cermak Hall in Chicago is completely sold out, fans still have the opportunity to experience his magic on October 20 at Avant Gardner in Brooklyn or on December 1 at Club Space in Miami. Secure your tickets by visiting his website today and let Kaskade’s music guide you through an experience that transcends the ordinary.

REDUX 006 promises an intimate musical journey through Kaskade’s distinct deep house sound. Don’t forget to mark October 27 on your calendar for the full release. Meanwhile, you can listen to “Save Me” on Spotify or your preferred music platform today!
