KAYZO, Tom & Collins, Valentino Khan, Ray Volpe, and ROSSY are set to play the maiden voyage of EDSea, and they gave us their top travel tips.
The maiden voyage of EDSea is quickly approaching on the horizon, and it is time to start getting ready for this party on the high seas. Insomniac, Vibee, and Sixthman have planned an experience for the ages on the Norwegian Joy that will surely allow for headliners to make memories that will last a lifetime. The lineup for EDSea was released just a few short months ago, and since then, they’ve dropped off the themed nights, onboard activities, and beverage and dining packages that will help enhance your cruise.
There’s still so much more to do before EDSea sets sail, from picking out your best costumes for the themed day and night parties to stressing about the set time conflicts that will surely happen. To help you prepare for your trip, we caught up with KAYZO, Valentino Khan, Ray Volpe, ROSSY, and Tom & Collins to get some of their best travel tips to maximize your experience.
Packing is always one of the most difficult parts of any trip you’re about to take as you decide what you’ll need to bring with you and what you want to leave at home. KAYZO shared that his top tip is not to overpack, while Valentino Khan said that his pro tip is to roll your clothes when putting them into your suitcase, “You’ll have tons more space, thank me later.” The threat of an airline losing your bag is prevalent, though, as Khan went on to say that you should avoid checking a bag whenever possible. Rossy mentioned that she puts Airtags in her luggage and other valuables to help avoid this issue.

Ray Volpe is all about making sure you’re prepared for any hurdles that might present themselves during your trip. “Bring your own sunscreen if you can; it gets super expensive, and bring one jacket because you never know when the weather can sneak up on you, and you have nothing to cover up with,” he said.
Another must-have for Ray Volpe is two pairs of shoes. He brings sneakers for walking around and sandals for any pool or beach vibes. And to avoid your phone’s battery dying, don’t forget the last item on his list, a portable charger. “Portable chargers are a must, especially if you plan to be out of your room all day and you’re in sunlight where you need your brightness all the way up!” he shared.
Although you might be on the high seas surrounded by water, staying hydrated while dancing the day and night away during EDSea is important. All five artists we spoke with stressed that drinking water or using supplements like Liquid IV are crucial to surviving the non-stop partying that will take place while on board the Norwegian Joy. Purchasing the Premium Beverage Package will get you all the cartons of water you’ll need to keep your thirst at bay, while the bars on board will also be able to fill up your cup.
Hydration is only one aspect of being healthy while on a festival vacation like EDSea. ROSSY and Kayzo both mentioned that they bring vitamins wherever they go to keep the stress that travel can have on your bodies in check. They, along with Tom & Collins, mentioned how important getting good sleep is to help you reset and be energized during the trip. Sleeping might be difficult during EDSea with the number of sets and activities taking place, but you should do your best to find some time to shut your eyes.
