Tim Bergling Foundation’s Together For A Better Day will feature performances from Dan Tyminski, Griff, Yung Lean, ADAAM, and more.
The passing of Avicii rocked the dance music community, but his legacy has continued to the present day. His songs have been played out by fans and fellow artists, with hits like “Wake Me Up” and his album True achieving milestones, while an interactive museum has opened, and a documentary of his life has also been created. Additionally, the Tim Bergling Foundation, which was founded after his passing in 2018, has pressed on with many initiatives to help address suicide and mental health in young people.
The Tim Bergling Foundation hosted a tribute concert in 2019 to celebrate Avicii’s life, and in 2021, the non-profit launched Together For A Better Day, a concert focused on young creatives in the music scene to help raise awareness for their cause. Today, on World Mental Health Day, they’ve revealed the latest edition of this unique concert experience that’s set to be hosted on December 6 at Avicii Arena in Stockholm.
Much akin to the previous edition of Together For A Better Day, this year’s show is bringing a diverse lineup of artists from genres ranging from classical and pop to country and hip-hop. Those set to take the stage include the likes of Griff, Cleo, Cherrie, Jireel, ADAAM, Thomas Stenström, Yung Lean, and more, who will all be backed by a big band and symphony orchestra. Dan Tyminski, who worked with Avicii on “Hey Brother,” is also slated to perform, while rap artist Jelassi and actor Ayan Ahmed will host the festivities. Additional artists and special guests will also be added to the lineup as the event draws closer.
