Paul Mayson Drops Off a Perfect Summer Mix

**Hot off the release of his debut album, One Life, Paul Mayson whipped up a mix to keep you in a proper groove throughout the rest of the summer.**

From his beginnings as a club DJ touring the world to transitioning into a producer who continues to churn out fantastic dance-pop tracks, Paul Mayson has quickly caught the ear of many in the scene. Early releases on labels like HEXAGON, ICONS, and Spinnin’ Records helped set the stage for his career as a producer to blossom, and since then, he’s made Sony Music his home.

This year saw Paul Mayson take the next step on his artistic journey with the release of his debut album, One Life. Featuring 13 tracks in total; the album shows off the unique blend of styles and genre-bending abilities that the Dutch artist brings to the scene. Not only does he deliver a hearty helping of tracks featuring classic house grooves on tracks like “Automatic,” but he also digs into the indie electronic side of the spectrum for added effect. Additionally, Paul Mayson’s collaborative skills are also put on display as One Life brings artists like Saint Sinner, Jono McCleery, Isabel Usher, and more along for features.

Speaking about One Life, Paul Mayson said, “The album celebrates life, freedom, and diversity and embodies the uplifting message of dance music, enriched by the sounds and colors of the genres that shaped my childhood. To make you feel happy and free.” And with that notion in mind, he’s spun up a mix for our Summer Sessions series that will get your feet moving and simultaneously put a smile on your face.

Found within the mix are tracks from One Life, such as “Missing You,” “Can’t Trust The Way I Feel,” and “Saturday Night,” but Paul Mayson has also layered in some other gems as well. This includes tunes from Jamie Jones, Mark Knight and Armand Van Helden, and Disclosure, as well as remixes and edits from Chris Lake, Mau P, and Vintage Culture.
