From dubstep and trap to house and indie dance, the HARD Summer 2023 Compilation features a range of sounds that will permeate the festival.

HARD Summer is making some significant moves this year as it heads back to its home city of Los Angeles after trotting around other regions of Southern California. The massive footprint of the festival will dominate LA Memorial Coliseum, BMO Stadium, and the surrounding Exposition Park when it returns on August 5-6, and the excitement has steadily built for those who are planning to catch sets at the festival’s five stages.

The size of the venue isn’t the only thing that’s larger than life for this edition of HARD Summer, as the lineup is also packing a hearty punch. Whether you’re planning to catch the b2bs featuring Kaskade and John Summit or Skrillex and Four Tet, or you’re getting hyped up for performances from Gorgon City, DIESEL, Dillon Francis, Kid Cudi, or Black Coffee, there’s plenty to explore.

Those looking for a taste of the sounds booming through the speakers of HARD Summer’s stages this weekend shouldn’t sleep on their annual compilation. Out now across all platforms, it features 28 tracks from a range of artists set to perform at the festival this year and is the perfect way to dive deeper into the undercard.

Found inside are hit tunes like Kaskade and Justus‘ “Dance With Me,” Hamdi’s “Skanka (VIP),” Knock2’s “Make U SWEAT!,” and Space Laces‘ “Dominate (VIP).” Other gems include Blanke’s “Deranged,” Tape B’s “Exposed,” Blossom’s “Wait,” Disco Lines‘ “Another Chance,” and Odd Mob and GD Vandal’s “Been Dreaming,” all of which show off the range of styles that this festival offers.

Grant Gilmore

Grant Gilmore’s authoritative voice as a media professional lends credibility not common to EDM journalism. As the founder of EDM Identity he has effectively raised the bar on coverage of the past decade’s biggest youth culture phenomenon. After ten years of working for nonprofit organization Pro Player Foundation, Gilmore launched EDM Identity as a media outlet offering accurate informative coverage of the rave scene and electronic music as a whole. Although they cover comprehensive topic matter, they have taken special care in interviewing the likes of Armin van Buuren, Adventure Club, Gorgon City, Lane 8 and Afrojack. In addition to household names, they have also highlighted unsung heroes of the industry through their ID Spotlight segment. Whether he’s covering it or not, you can expect to find Grant Gilmore attending the next big electronic music event. To find out what’s next on his itinerary, follow him via the social links below.
