SLANDER reveals the dates for their monstrous Chimera Tour that will take place in cities across North America this fall.
Melodic-bass bravados Derek Anderson and Scott Land, better recognized as their stage alter SLANDER, have seen a series of successes via their extraordinary discography and frequently sold-out shows. An envious list of festival slots worldwide at Tomorrowland, Ultra Music Festival, EDC Las Vegas, and Lollapalooza have only seen their fanbase and creative explorations explode to even larger sizes. Now, they’re set to embark on the 17-date Chimera Tour that will take place this fall.
Known for their high-level production values, SLANDER has noted that the Chimera Tour’s two-year creative process provides an all-new experience for fans to absorb. Having recently announced that they sold more tickets than any other headlining DJ in Southern California during the on-sale for their LA Convention Center show, it’s no surprise that listeners are hot on the duo’s heels for more. Social media teases leading up to today’s Chimera Tour announcement make the news extra juicy, even in a week full of fall tour announcements.
The Chimera Tour will kick off with a doubleheader at the LA Convention Center on August 25- 26 and will see support from A Hundred Drums, Dabin, Space Laces, Trivecta, Kill the Noise, and many more as it crosses North America. Canadian fans will get some love via a Toronto stop, and the tour offers some impressive coverage stateside with Red Rocks on the horizon as well as double nights at Chicago’s Aragon Ballroom and Minneapolis’ Armory. Stay tuned for the three hidden dates to be revealed.
