FREAK ON might’ve just released “Keep My Cool,” but he turned up the dial amid a SoCal summer heatwave with a mix filled with IDs and other gems.

Los Angeles-based DJ and producer FREAK ON has been lighting dancefloors on fire since he first emerged on the scene with his unmistakable blend tech house and bass house sounds. The past few years have seen this budding artist grace labels ranging from House Call and Dim Mak to Confession and Box Of Cats, with a debut on Repopulate Mars back in May. But for his most recent release, FREAK ON has returned to mau5trap’s sub-label, hau5trap, to inject some summer vibes into your soul.

Having previously been featured on hau5trap last summer with the release of “We Got The Fire,” a bass house heater oozing with energy, there was no doubt that FREAK ON’s trip back to the imprint nearly a year later would be another stunning ride. This time around, the LA-based artist decided to put his tech house side on display with “Keep My Cool” and offered up another groovy ride. From the energetic bassline to the perfectly aligned vocals, bodies will be moving and shaking along to this one all season long.
