SoundCloud and Brownies & Lemonade Announce Partnership

Brownies & Lemonade and SoundCloud are teaming up to further community discovery efforts and artist development initiatives.

When you discuss brands in the music industry that have been paramount to the growth of artists, there’s no doubt that SoundCloud and Brownies & Lemonade need to be part of the conversation. While SoundCloud has solidified its place as one of the biggest streaming platforms for those looking to make their break in the scene, Brownies & Lemonade has curated impressive lineups filled with talent on the rise. Now, the two have announced a partnership that will unite them as they continue their mission of uplifting emerging artists.

The partnership between SoundCloud and Brownies & Lemonade will see the two collaborate on an artist spotlight series and curation on playlists, including Brownies & Lemonade’s “Move Makers.” The aforementioned playlists will feature artists nominated quarterly and weekly by Brownies & Lemonade, while SoundCloud will aid in the process and promote them across their channels. Artists who want to submit demos for consideration can do so via the #info channel on their Discord server.

Additionally, this new partnership will see the re-launch of Brownies & Lemonade’s Open Aux Arcade. This live stream on Twitch is set to reemerge on July 11 at 7pm PT and will feature B&L’s Creative Director Chad Kenny and RamonPang, with the two providing live feedback on demos and exclusive submissions that flow in directly from SoundCloud.
