1788-L Returns with First Track Off Debut Album

in New Releases

1788-L makes a grand return to mau5trap with the daring lead single “XENOCLONE” off his upcoming debut album ALPHA+.

While stealthily maintaining a mysterious presence within dance music over the years, 1788-L has managed to make quite the impression on fans who feel easily entranced by his unique manipulation of sounds. First winning over listeners in 2018 with iconic remixes and singles self-released on his SoundCloud, the artist soon started getting his tracks played out by artists such as Zeds Dead, Seven Lions, and RL Grime. Wasting no time at all, the talented producer went on to collaborate with other major players including Rezz, Deathpact, and The Glitch Mob, with his releases gracing imprints like Deadbeats and mau5trap.

Recently wiping his socials for the first-ever 1788-L face reveal earlier this year, the artist lured fans in once again with building anticipation for what was to come. Now, all questions have been answered as he releases the lead single, “XENOCLONE” off his forthcoming eight-track debut album, ALPHA+, along with the announcement of a US tour bearing the same name.

“XENOCLONE” captures listeners with distinct 1788-L sounds of automation that explode into a fast tempo as the drums and bass kick in. The energy this track brings is enough to intrigue listeners as they’re bopping along, waiting for more. The track will remind OG fans and new ones alike why he quickly became a staple in sets from many beloved artists in the scene.

If the rest of the ALPHA+ album and what’s to come on the tour features anything like what’s found on this track, fans will be in for quite a treat. Tickets for the ALPHA+ tour are on sale now, with 12 stops throughout North America in cities like Denver, Vancouver, Portland, Toronto, and more, so grab them now. In the meantime, hit play on “XENOCLONE” on Spotify or your preferred platform and immerse yourself in his sounds!
