ODESZA and Yellow House Release Lead Single Off Forthcoming EP

**ODESZA announced their collaborative, indie-dance EP with Yellow House, Flaws In Our Design, and released the first single, “Heavier.”**

With their album, The Last Goodbye, and its accompanying tour making stops throughout North America, the run that ODESZA experienced in 2023 is already one for the books. They have headlining appearances at some of the year’s biggest festivals and will even be the first electronic act to headline the main stage at Outside Lands in August. It seems like everything they touch turns to gold, but that’s not all coming from the duo this year.

Earlier this week, ODESZA announced a psychedelic indie-dance EP in collaboration with South African artist Yellow House. The six-track EP titled Flaws In Our Design finds its origin all the way back in 2017 when ODESZA reached out to Yellow House to explore opportunities to work together. In 2019, he flew to Seattle to work in the studio with ODESZA, and on July 21, the world will see their efforts come to life in this EP.

Five years in the making, Flaws In Our Design will see ODESZA and Yellow House explore a new sonic landscape. The first single, “Heavier,” is one of the tracks that Yellow House first gravitated to when he was sent the works-in-progress. Out now for your listening pleasure, the tune gives listeners a glimpse into the EP with ODESZA’s signature, glistening synths backing Yellow House’s vocals. The poetic vocals sing of a yearning for an unavailable love, all surrounded by lush production, proving once again that the beauty they create is golden.
