Los Angeles-based DJ and producer ONHELL makes his Deadbeats debut with a tantalizing two-track EP, Pechanga.

Inspired by a phonetic respelling of the Spanish pronunciation of the word “angel,” ONHELL is an artist that easily captured our attention with his fierce individuality from day one. Infusing elements of dubstep, hip-hop, and modern experimental bass music in his sounds, the creativity of this Los Angeles-based artist remains ever-flowing. ONHELL’s releases have been featured on labels including DUPLOC, Jadu Dala, vibe.digital, and Deep, Dark, & Dangerous, and with appearances at festivals including Shambhala, WAKAAN Festival, and The Untz Festival, he’s quickly garnered a following.

Now, ONHELL is making his Deadbeats debut with a two-track EP, Pechanga. Out now across all platforms, the release takes off with its title track, quickly sending listeners into a descent of madness with meticulously crafted sounds. It’s clear to see the way ONHELL’s inspirations come together as he molds them throughout his creations. The second track, “Skeleton Synth,” creates a world of its own for listeners, with vocals that carry fans through what feels like the Twilight Zone and will leave them craving more after it comes to a close.

Pechanga is a word originating from Texas basically describing a Mexican rager. Although I’m a California boy, my grandma crossed the border via a boat into Texas. So I found it appropriate to let people know that these are tunes to turn up to through and through.

ONHELL

ONHELL brought a rager of his own kind to Deadbeats and with such a spectacular debut release on the imprint, fans will be waiting for the next sonic offerings from this talented producer. Listen to the Pechanga EP on Spotify or your preferred platform and follow ONHELL on social media to stay in the know on future releases and shows.
