Community Is the Core of AC Slater’s Latest Album

AC Slater brings a feel-good vibe that will lift your spirits as he highlights the power of community on his latest album, Together.

AC Slater, a prolific DJ and producer at the forefront of the bass house scene, just released his dynamic dance album Together on his imprint Night Bass. His third studio album is a testament to his journey as an artist, showcasing his versatility and development. Together is a tribute to the artists AC Slater collaborated with, including Jay Robinson, Chris Lorenzo, Kaleena Zanders, and NuBass. The album beautifully personifies the rave community’s power and shows what can happen when people come together to support and uplift one another. To put it simply, this album feels like the rave mantra of “Peace, Love, Unity, and Respect” personified.

To add to the anticipation, AC Slater hosted a private listening party where a select group of attendees was able to get a sneak peek at the new album and hear his thoughts about the project. When asked what his favorite thing about making the project was, he said, “Everyone coming together and helping me finish these projects made me feel so loved and a part of a community, part of a family where people work together.”

The aptly titled album brings together many artists and is an ode to what we as humans can accomplish when united by mutual respect and a mutual cause. When asked about his new album, AC Slater pays homage to all the artists he worked with since the project’s inception and supports the up-and-coming generation of DJs. The blend of old-school house and the rising sounds of the new age mix together, creating an album with a lively range that is certainly going to be a good time.

The idea of ‘Together’ is nothing new to me. Strength in numbers has always been important in my life. Anyone who knows me knows my motto: ‘I just want to do cool sh*t with cool people.’ The feeling of sharing a journey together with people you love is unlike anything else. Building something TOGETHER.

Together has a high energy, dance vibe that eloquently blends a thoughtful album concept with powerful vocally-driven songs. Each track elicits a jovial, infectious feeling when a beat takes over and makes it impossible not to dance along.

One track that stands out is the powerful “Blue June,” a collaboration with Kaleena Zanders. It has a fluid, synthy sound paired with commanding lyrics that demand your attention and could stand in as any strong, independent woman’s anthem. The catchy melody invokes feelings of self-love and confidence. You’ll definitely catch me dancing and happy crying in the crowd to this song – it’s a true standout on the album.

Another spotlight-worthy track is “Night Rider,” featuring Scrufizzer. This track brings bouncy, bassy wubs to the party and perfectly captures the sound of the age. It puts the Bass in Night Bass. This high-energy track is sure to have shufflers shuffling because the song is infectious. I guarantee you will not be able to stop dancing once you start.

Beloved house artist Chris Lorenzo comes back for another collaboration for the aptly titled track “I Believe.” The song’s uplifting message and downright filthy drops are sure to make this a fan favorite. The anthemic vocals are powerful yet deliver a lighthearted message that is an instant mood lifter. For the days when you just “can’t take no more,” this track is sure to be the cure-all. Additionally, Together features a previously released dance hit, “Until The Morning,” produced in collaboration with Jay Robinson.

The album is riddled with wubs, bass, compelling vocals, and catchy melodies. It truly has something for everyone, from rave babies to rave moms alike. If I had to guess, AC Slater’s latest releases will be the soundtrack this summer, and we are going to hear them all throughout the upcoming festivals. There is no doubt that when he unleashes this at his next big show, the crowd is going to get down and boogie, so don’t forget your dancing shoes.

In the words of AC Slater, “Be a good person.” Respect others in the community, don’t forget to hydrate, and be sure to catch him on his album tour this fall. Tickets are on sale now on his website.
