Reinier Zonneveld Revamps "Music Is The Answer"

Reinier Zonneveld offers a techno-fueled twist to Danny Tenaglia’s classic, “Music Is The Answer,” as the first track from his new album.

As techno continues to make its way up from the underground to the forefront of the scene worldwide, artists display their talents and take on the genre in full force. One of these mainstays, Reinier Zonneveld, continues to impress with a discography dating back over ten years, breathtaking technical live sets, and a plethora of new tracks to satisfy his fans. With performances at Tomorrowland, Awakenings, and Parookaville on the horizon, and the debut of his very own festival, Karren Maar, in the Netherlands, Zonneveld is surely set for another impressive year.

The Filth on Acid label head shows no signs of stopping, with plenty of heat dropping since his last full-length album in 2019. Collaborations with Oliver Heldens’ HI-LO project have resonated well with fans, along with releases such as “CSE,” “Oldskool,” “We Can Dance Again” with Armin van Buuren and Roland Clark, and “I Can’t Sleep.” Now, Zonneveld is providing his own spin on the classic anthem “Music Is The Answer” by Danny Tenaglia ahead of his forthcoming album.

Having made its way through Zonneveld’s live sets for two years now, “Music Is The Answer” is finally here in all its glory. A refreshing take on the 90s house hit, his version channels a thunderous techno soundscape fit for any dancefloor. The soothing, trance-like vocals successfully draw listeners in as we flow through the track’s melodies and underlying acid grunts. It’s a solid blend of high-energy techno with a gratifying melodic pulse, sounds that fans can expect to hear more of on Zonneveld’s new album.

In this new album, I feel like there’s more consistency to the music – it’s all techno, but I’m exploring techno in a broader sense. There is diversity to the tracks, but they are all within the techno spectrum. I’d say this album is my biggest development as an artist, as the selection of music feels really cohesive.
