GRiZ will head to Arizona this September with Daily Bread, Justin Jay, OPIUO, and more for the debut edition of Ursa Major.
Although GRiZ shocked many just a few days ago by announcing the news that he’ll be taking a hiatus that will start in October, that doesn’t mean that the artist won’t be throwing down some heat until then. His appearances at festivals and events around the country are still moving forward, and there’s even a brand new one that was revealed today for fans to flock to – Ursa Major.
The debut edition of Ursa Major is set to take place on September 22-24 in Flagstaff, Arizona, and this boutique cosmic camping experience is one that his faithful fanbase won’t want to miss out on. Throughout the weekend, those making their way to the festival will be able to bask in the sounds of GRiZ all three nights, along with those from others who range from jam bands to bass artists. This includes the likes of Of The Trees, Black Carl!, SunSquabi, Zen Selekta, Luzcid, Daily Bread, Justin Jay, OPIUO, and INZO, among others.
Akin to other curated events from GRiZ, Ursa Major will feature plenty more beyond the music itself at this limited-capacity experience. Art installations will be found throughout the venue, while workshops will be available to participate in throughout the weekend. Not to mention that the idyllic location of the campground, Fort Tuthill County Park in the Coconino National Forest, will allow everyone to sleep under the stars and amidst the trees to make this even more memorable.
The pre-sale for Ursa Major begins on June 12 at 10am PT, while the general sale kicks off on June 14 at 10am PT. Those planning to attend should head over to Laylo to sign up for access to early tickets.
