New mysterious artist Modapit showcases their style ahead of their EDC Las Vegas debut with a live set you need to listen to.
A new artist shrouded in mystery has landed on the scene – Modapit. First surfacing from the shadows of the scene in January with the release of “Dancing,” the newly-minted producer who dons a fishnet veil introduced their music-first, fashion-forward to the masses in style. Since then, multiple singles have been unveiled, including “Falling In Love” and “Out Of Control,” adding to their growing discography as they build up toward the release of their debut album, which is due out later this year.
Modapit has gone beyond the techno-laced soundscapes created in the studio to deliver added layers to this secret project by teaming up with filmmakers David Borges and Carlos Perez. This has included a video that introduced their ego-less nature to the world at the beginning of the year and official videos that have paired with each single that’s been released so far. Now, they’ve collaborated once again for a live set shot at Red Wall Las Vegas to further put their dynamic sound on full display ahead of their debut performance at EDC Las Vegas this month.
A flurry of their originals and VIP edits is found within the tracklist of this live set from Modapit. This includes their three previously released singles, a handful of IDs, and some fantastic cuts of tracks that have dominated minds over the years, such as Kx5’s “Bright Lights,” Gesaffelstein’s “Control Movement,” Eric Prydz’s “Generate,” and Mau P‘s “Drugs From Amsterdam.”
