During this time, ONYVAA’s sound caught the ear of Charlotte de Witte, which led to the release of her Lost Angeles EP back in 2021 on KNTXT, and now, two years later, she’s back on the imprint with Valley Of Fire.

“Don’t Ever Stop” begins this trip into the depths of this unique soundscape with its fast-paced kicks and hi-hats, effectively acting as if ONYVAA has revved her engine and pressed down on the gas. A sense of nostalgia arrives with its rave-forward synths and vocal stabs that are layered in as an added treat that’s soothing at its core. The title track keeps the pace while hypnotizing anyone who listens with arpeggiated synths, making this sonic realm even larger than life. Then, ONYVAA closes out the EP with “Vision Quest,” a banging tune that’s brimming with claps, otherworldly synths, and mesmerizing vocal samples that will leave you dancing deep into the night.
