Although the weather is heating up, the spooky vibes are high as Suwannee Hulwaeen returns to the mystical Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park in Florida this year. Scheduled to grace the weekend of October 26-29, The String Cheese Incident‘s festival is set to bring a huge showcase for Halloweekend, celebrating the 10th anniversary. As many festival goers attempted to decode cryptic messages left about the lineup, the time has finally come for those nerves to settle and replace with ecstatic elation, as this is their most heavy-hitting lineup to date.
Yes, the rumors are true – Pretty Lights is set to play Suwannee Hulaween this year after announcing his return after a five-year hiatus earlier today. That’s just the tip of the iceberg on the talent that will be taking the stage at the festival. Other headliners set to play include Joe Russo’s Almost Dead, Big Wild, John Summit, Channel Tres, Smino, Mt. Joy, Goose, Trey Anastasio Band, Elderbrook, Dispatch, Les Claypool’s Fearless Flying Frog Brigade, and of course, The String Cheese Incident.
There is also plenty more in store beyond the headlining acts, as some true standouts grace the undercard. This includes the likes of Manic Focus, Champagne Drip, Gioli & Assia, Inzo, Moore Kismet, Sodown, Lettuce, MEMBA, VEIL, QRTR, and NotLo. Attendees certainly won’t want to miss the mind-bending sets from Lab Group, ISOxo, and Sodown, while Apashe is bringing a live brass ensemble along with him. And those on the hunt for some house grooves should look no further than Joshwa, Lucati, and BLOND:ISH.
