FNGRS CRSSD and Tight Knit are bringing a new live experience to San Diego this summer, Bleached Festival, with Joji, Leon Bridges, and more.
While house and techno have dominated the soundscape of San Diego for years, with FNGRS CRSSD leading the charge, there’s something new that’s been brewing from the minds behind the brand. Last week, they teased a fresh festival experience with Tight Knit for those who love live music acts in the realm of alternative, indie-pop, and new-age R&B, Bleached Festival, which is set to take place on August 5-6 at the beautiful Waterfront Park.
Questions stirred around who would be playing this new festival that has replaced the weekend that DAY MVS XL has taken place over the past few years, and today that answer has been called with the lineup reveal. Headlining the debut edition of Bleached Festival are the two artists smack dab in the middle of the flyer, Joji and Leon Bridges, two artists who set the tone for the rest of the list and are putting the live aspect of this event on full display.
Other artists set to perform have been featured at CRSSD Festival’s Ocean View stage in the past, such as Aluna and Channel Tres, who are both sure to impress anyone who catches their sets. Also found on the lineup for Bleached are the likes of Pinkpantheress, Dayglow, BADBADNOTGOOD, Inner Wave, Stephen Sanchez, The Jungle Giants, Lizzy McAlpine, Cat Burns, and Omar Apollo, among others.
Check out the initial lineup for Bleached Festival 2023 below, and stay tuned for more artists to be announced in the coming months. Tickets for the debut edition go on sale Tuesday, April 4 at 11am PT. Text “BLEACHED” to (206) 804-2374 to get notified the moment they go on sale.
