Want to boogie to the beat in Los Angeles this summer? Future Primitive has you covered with four shows you won’t want to miss!
Los Angeles-based event collective Future Primitive has made a statement with some of the most jaw-dropping shows to grace Southern California over the years, and now they’re back for another round of fun this summer. Four shows will take place at some of Downtown LA’s most iconic outdoor spaces to titillate the senses of house and techno lovers looking for their fix of beats with fantastic lineups and transformative production elements.
The partying kicks off on May 6 when Future Primitive hosts Guy Gerber’s party series, Rumors, at Gin Ling Square for a block party that fans won’t want to miss. This unique show in Chinatown’s historic square has become an essential show to attend for anyone looking to start the summer off on the right foot, and it will surely pack a punch with its lineup.
Later that month, on May 20, Lee Burridge and the All Day I Dream crew will make their way to Los Angeles for a day-into-night party at Pershing Square. Fans of atmospheric electronic music will be flocking to this one as the ADID crew whisks them away to a dreamlike state. This is a showcase that has become hotly sought-after and with it taking place in the midst of their worldwide tour, you can expect plenty of quality artists to take the stage.
Pershing Square will be the destination for many once again on June 3-4 as Jamie Jones’ Paradise expands its show in Los Angeles for two days for the first time ever. This collaborative event is one that will be memorable for house and techno lovers, with past editions drawing in large crowds who have been captivated by the beats and production elements.
Closing out Future Primitive’s summer series in style is a first for Los Angeles, the debut of Astra Club. This new show at Gin Ling Square on July 15 brings the minds of Carlita and DJ Tennis into the mix and will carry on the tradition of the latter’s previous +1 shows that had featured a bevy of talented artists.
