Lane 8 Reveals Lineups for This Never Happened Summer Gatherings

Sultan + Shepard, Le Youth, Jerro, OCULA, Massane, and more will be joining Lane 8 at his This Never Happened Summer Gatherings this year.

Lane 8 delighted his faithful followers this year with some special news, the return of the This Never Happened Summer Gatherings. These special showcases had previously taken place in 2017 and 2019 and saw the label boss head to unique, immersive spaces to play his heart out. Now, the series is roaring forward once again, with three editions set to take place in New York, San Francisco, and Denver.

While the announcement had fans jumping for joy, Lane 8 teased that the lineups would feature at least four artists from the This Never Happened family, and today, the list of supporting acts has been revealed. Joining him on June 3 at Forest Hills Stadium in New York will be Jerro and OCULA, along with Massane, who will play a live set and a special guest that is still to be announced.

The Great Northern in San Francisco will be filled with plenty of uplifting vibes on June 17 when Le Youth, Jerro, OCULA, and Avoure join Lane 8 for the edition of TNH Summer Gatherings there. And then, toward the end of the summer, on September 9, Civic Center Park will light up Denver with Sultan + Shepard, EMBRZ, OCULA, Ashibah, and a live set from Massane as well.

It’s important to note that all This Never Happened shows are meant to be a phone and photo-free space. Those attending will either have a sticker placed over their phone’s camera or the entire device placed in a Yondr pouch to help make the atmosphere one that’s centered on the music and in-person connections made on the dancefloor.
