Dreamstate will head Down Under for the first time since 2019 with Dreamstate Australia set to land in Melbourne on April 22.
Update: Artists set to play the upcoming edition of Dreamstate Australia include Cosmic Gate, Infected Mushroom, Ciaran McAuley, Blastoyz, Maddix, and Achilles. Additionally, Ben Nicky is bringing his Emotional Havoc concept along for the ride, while MaRLo is slated to gift the crowd with plenty of Tech Energy.
Previously: Turn back the clock to 2016, and you’ll see Insomniac Events‘ trance-fueled brand Dreamstate beginning to take its first steps into a global expansion after launching the year prior. One stop that captivated trance family members with its impressive stage design was Dreamstate Australia, which took place at Melbourne’s Hisense Arena. Subsequent years saw the experience expand to cities like Sydney, but the most recent edition to take place was in 2019 before the pandemic took hold.
Now that much of the past few years’ problems have faded away, Dreamstate Australia is gearing up for a monumental comeback. Riding the wave of Dreamstate Europe’s announcement earlier this month, Insomniac and Symbiotic dropped the details that trance family members residing Down Under will want to make their way to the Flemington Racecourse in Melbourne on April 22 for its return.
While the lineup is yet to be revealed, past iterations of Dreamstate Australia have featured some of the biggest artists and rising stars alike in the trance scene. This has included legends like Solarstone, Binary Finary, Rank 1, and Paul Van Dyk, along with sensational artists like John O’Callaghan, Sneijder, and Factor B. Stay tuned for this year’s lineup to be revealed because it’s sure to pack quite the punch!
