SILO is destined to be the newest go-to nightclub in Brooklyn, with Alex Neuhausen and Lilly Wolfson leading a wildly creative, diverse team.
The hub of Brooklyn‘s nightlife scene in East Williamsburg is gearing up for the launch of another incredible event space. SILO, an immersive 500-capacity multi-genre dance venue, is built in a converted hangar and set to open to the public on February 10. Founded by Alex Neuhausen and Lilly Wolfson, the NYC duo known for creating energized experiences with their “Secret Loft” underground party scene, SILO has been a journey of three years in the making inspired by the success of their series. Apart from detailed planning, fundraising, and intense organization, the duo has laid the firm groundwork to push the boundaries of representing the vast cultures and communities within dance music.
The opening month of shows at SILO will bring artists like Mike Servito, Cassy, Tara Brooks, Sasha Carassi, Toribio, and more to the immersive event space. The initial line-up features Josh Wink on February 24, followed by Eli Escobar, who will grace the decks on February 25. Hiroko Yamamura, Justin Cudmore, and Wtchcrft are then scheduled to perform the following weekend, with the rest of the lineup promising to be just as exciting with a variety of other artists like Kollektive Turmstrasse and Francois K.
The name SILO captures the industrial feel of the space and the neighborhood, like a military missile silo. It also feels like a grain silo (big vertical cylinder) turned on its side.

Apart from being core music enthusiasts, Alex’s background in electrical engineering and Lilly’s deep expertise in software engineering and graphic design have distinctly shone through in the making of SILO. From the artistic design of the interior space that is precisely curated to elevate an environment that draws in the vision of heavenly daydreams, the audiences can not only enjoy the mesmerizing music at the venue but also leave with unforgettable memories.
From a dedicated space that allows the audience to momentarily escape reality to the building of a unique community that embraces gender equality, SILO raises the bar when it comes to the physical design of the venue and sound quality to ultimately deliver a multi-sensory experience of enjoying dance music. Sonically, the venue is also equipped with high-end tech controls and sound systems to ensure that the dance floor gets the maximum projection of top-class sound treatment.

Our core team is a group of people who became friends throwing nightlife events together, and then we turned it into a business. If you’ve seen ‘Slumdog Millionaire,’ there’s this ongoing theme that random events in the main character’s life have conspired to give him the exact knowledge he needs to win a million dollars on a gameshow.
