German trio Diode Eins sent an early holiday gift in the form of an hour-long mix that shows off their quality productions and what’s to come in 2023.
Fresh artists on the scene are carving out increasing space in the progressive house realm, and one of them is Diode Eins. While this German trio has dabbled in everything from breaks to electronica since dropping their first single in 2020, the deep, progressive realm is where they’ve really thrived. Eclipse Recordings, Homesick Music, and Intersectum Records are just some of the labels that Diode Eins has released on, yet their releases on Grum’s Deep State have truly stood tall.
Diode Eins made their Deep State debut earlier year with the release of The Light, which featured some beautiful soundscapes to get lost in. Now, the trio has returned to the Grum-led imprint for a two-tracker that acts as a proper bookend for their impressive year – Believe. This time around, Diode Eins looked to flex their collaborative muscle by teaming up with Kiele and moona lu to bring the tunes to life, and the result is another stunning body of work.
After spinning a mix for the Spring Sound Waves series after their debut on Deep State, it felt fitting for them to return after their sophomore release in the fall. Luckily Diode Eins agreed and gifted us with a mix that is dominated by their gorgeous productions. Found inside this journey are tracks like “Fractal Dance” and their remix of Entel’s “Crisis,” but also included are a number of IDs that are due out for release in 2023.
