Elypsis Uplifts the Soul with 'Fine Lines' EP

Elypsis returns to Monstercat Silk with the three-track Fine Lines EP, his latest release that offers dreamy soundscapes to explore.

One of the artists who has truly made a home for themselves on Monstercat Silk over the years is Elypsis. This Australian artist got his start at the age of 18 after becoming enamored by the sounds of progressive and trance, which led to his debut on the imprint back in 2017, and he hasn’t looked back since. This year already saw Elypsis drop the ever-stunning All Around Me, which showcased his abilities in crafting everything from organic house to trance, leaving listeners in a bliss-like state as each second passed by.

While that release in late spring was sublime, Elypsis wasn’t quite done for the year on Monstercat Silk. The fall months bring cooler temperatures and new music from the Australian producer in the form of the Fine Lines EP. This dreamy, three-track offering was influenced by Elypsis’ travels throughout Tasmania and the experiences he had along the way.

The title track opens the trip into the melodic realm with soft chords and vocals that tug at the heartstrings. This makes way for the atmospheric “Dreaming Awake,” which is vibrant at its core and features uplifting elements that will get you out of your funk and dancing right along with it. “Take Me” closes out the release in a similar manner, offering a touch of added depth with organic elements and soft claps layered in over the gorgeous synths, which will have you swaying along with it in no time at all.
